Official Ceramic Pro distributor for the Adriatic

Ceramic coatings for yachts and boats

Salt, UV and oxidation work on your hull every day the boat is in the water. A certified Ceramic Pro marine system seals gelcoat, paint, glass and metal — so the boat washes down in minutes instead of hours, and holds its gloss between seasons.

Where the coating goes

A different coating above and below

Above it, Bravo protects gelcoat and paint from salt and UV. Below it, Ceramic Pro Marine is itself a type-approved anti-fouling coating.

Marine

Built for salt water

Ceramic Pro Marine is the manufacturer's dedicated marine range — a different chemistry above and below the waterline, not an automotive product sold for boats.

Marine

What we coat on a boat

Every surface on a vessel fails differently. The marine range is applied surface by surface, not as one product over everything.

Below and at the waterline

Hull & topsides

Sealed gelcoat and paint that resists salt crusting, waterline staining and slime build-up. Reduces drag and cuts wash-down time at the dock.

  • Gelcoat & awlgrip compatible
  • Anti-fouling friendly prep
  • Haul-out or in-water options
Above deck

Superstructure & glass

UV-stable protection for the flybridge, hardtop and windows. Treated glass sheds spray and rain at speed, which means a clearer screen underway.

  • Hydrophobic glass treatment
  • Stainless & chrome protection
  • Non-slip deck safe
Soft and interior

Canvas, vinyl & interiors

Biminis, covers, upholstery and teak treated against water, sunscreen, wine and diesel marks. Spills sit on the surface instead of soaking in.

  • Breathable textile coating
  • Leather & vinyl protection
  • Mould and staining resistance

The marine range

Three coatings, three zones

A hull is not one surface. What survives below the waterline is not what belongs on a windscreen, and the manufacturer builds them separately.

Ceramic Pro Marine 1000 ml canister — anti-fouling coating for below the waterline

Ceramic Pro Marine

Below the waterline

An organotin-free anti-fouling coating for underwater surfaces. It resists marine growth and shields the hull from the damage that fouling and its removal cause. Type-approved by Bureau Veritas.

Ceramic Pro Bravo — protective coating for surfaces above the waterline

Ceramic Pro Bravo

Above the waterline

For topsides, superstructure and gelcoat. Built for the maritime climate: salt spray, UV, and the constant wash-down cycle that strips ordinary protection within a season.

Ceramic Pro Squall — glass coating for marine windows and windscreens

Ceramic Pro Squall

Glass and windows

A dedicated glass coating for wheelhouse windows and windscreens. Spray and rain clear themselves at speed instead of smearing across the field of view.

Evidence

What is actually documented

Coating marketing is full of claims nobody can check. These two are independently issued and verifiable, so we quote them exactly — including their limits.

Bureau Veritas type approval

Certificate 48947/B0 BV · valid to 18 Mar 2027

Ceramic Pro Marine holds a Type Approval Certificate from Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore as an anti-fouling system, assessed against the appendix to IMO MEPC.195(61). The coating is organotin-free.

What that means precisely: it certifies the product complies with the international convention on anti-fouling systems. Bureau Veritas states the approval does not cover anti-fouling performance, durability or corrosion protection. It proves the product is legitimate for use on vessels — not how well it works.

Towing tank resistance tests

National Cheng Kung University · 2017 and 2018

Two independent series measured hull resistance with and without the coating in a university towing tank.

3.33%less drag — 2.03 m yacht model, 2017
2.97%less resistance — 8.11 m bulk carrier model, 2018

Both figures are model-scale. The 2018 report states plainly that the result is valid for the model, not for a full-size ship. We quote them as evidence the coating measurably smooths the hull, not as a fuel-saving promise for your boat.

The system

A cross-section through a coated hull

Tap a layer to see what it does and what it defends against.

GELCOAT · SUBSTRATE

Top coat

The sacrificial hydrophobic surface. This is the layer that makes water bead and run off, and the one that takes the abuse from salt spray, dock lines and wash brushes. It is renewed at annual inspection without disturbing the layers underneath.

Defends against: salt · spotting · light abrasion

Who we work with

Owners, yards, fleets

Yacht & boat owners

Protection applied at your marina or during a scheduled haul-out, with a warranty registered in your vessel's name and transferable on sale.

Marinas & shipyards

Trade supply and on-site training so your own team can offer coating as a paid service during refit and winter storage.

Charter fleets & dealers

How a job runs

From survey to warranty

Step 1

Survey

We inspect the vessel, measure oxidation and agree the scope in writing.

Step 2

Correction

Wash, decontamination and machine polishing. Coating locks in whatever is underneath.

Step 3

Application

Layers applied by a certified installer in controlled conditions, surface by surface.

Step 4

Cure

The boat stays dry for the cure window before it returns to the water.

Step 5

Registration

Warranty registered with Ceramic Pro and an annual inspection date set.

Automotive

The same chemistry, on the road

Paint protection, glass, wheels, leather and PPF-compatible systems for cars, motorcycles and RVs — plus full supply and certification for detailing studios across the region.

Questions

Before you book

A professionally applied marine system lasts multiple seasons and is covered by a registered warranty. The real variable is use: a boat kept in the water year-round in a busy marina ages faster than one dry-stored in winter. Annual inspection keeps the warranty live and refreshes the top coat.

Yes for topsides, superstructure, glass, canvas and interiors — we work alongside your berth. Anything below the waterline needs a haul-out, which we schedule together with your yard so it lands inside an existing lift.

Below the waterline, yes. Ceramic Pro Marine is an organotin-free anti-fouling coating with a Bureau Veritas type approval against IMO MEPC.195(61). Above the waterline the job is different — Bravo protects gelcoat and paint from salt and UV — and glass gets Squall. Which of the three your boat needs depends on where it spends its time, and we decide that at the survey.

The warranty is issued against the vessel, registered with Ceramic Pro, and covers the performance of the coating when applied by a certified installer and inspected annually. It transfers to the next owner, which is worth real money at resale.

Applications run through us as the regional distributor. Send your location, facility and current services through the form below and we will send the certification schedule and territory availability.
