What we collect, why, and how to make us stop. Last updated September 2026.
Ceramic Pro Balkans, based in Tivat, Montenegro, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@ceramicprobalkans.com or +382 68 356 883.
When you complete the enquiry form we receive your name, email address, and whatever else you choose to enter — telephone number, location or marina, vessel details, the type of enquiry, and your message. We also record which advertisement or source brought you to the site, so we can tell which of our marketing actually works.
We use this only to answer your enquiry and to follow up about it. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device type, how you arrived, and which elements you interacted with. This is aggregated statistical use — we are looking at patterns, not at you individually.
If you decline, none of this is collected. The site works exactly the same either way.
| Cookie | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| cp_consent | Remembers your cookie choice so you are not asked again | 6 months |
| cp_gclid, cp_src | Records which advert or referrer brought you here, so an enquiry can be attributed | 90 days |
| Google Analytics (_ga and related) | Usage statistics. Set only after you accept | Up to 24 months |
You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies for this site in your browser, which brings the consent banner back.
Enquiries are delivered to our email by a form-processing service and stored in our mailbox. Website statistics are processed by Google. Hosting is provided by Cloudflare. These providers process data on our behalf; we do not pass your details to any third party for their own marketing.
Some of these providers operate outside Montenegro and outside the EU. Transfers rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, including standard contractual clauses.
Enquiries are kept for up to three years, because a boat owner who asked about coating in one refit season often comes back in the next. Analytics data expires on the schedule in the table above. Ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or withdraw consent for cookies. Write to info@ceramicprobalkans.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the supervisory authority in your country. In Montenegro this is the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information.
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries travel encrypted and are stored in access-controlled accounts. No website can promise perfect security, but we do not collect payment details or identity documents through this site, so there is little here worth stealing.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page.
Note for the site owner: this policy describes what the website actually does and is a sound starting point, but it is not legal advice. Before serious traffic — and certainly before running paid advertising into EU countries — have it reviewed by a lawyer familiar with Montenegrin data protection law and the GDPR, and add your registered company name and address.
We use analytics cookies to see which pages bring enquiries. Nothing is collected until you agree. Privacy policy
